Tha 4orce is back again with a music video for the third track taken from his upcoming album, ‘Wild Wind That Blows’ featuring East London’s Cyclonious. Tha 4orce is taking it back to the golden age of Hip Hop with his new album “Setting Standards”, and collaborating with Aerosoul clothing to create the ‘Hip Hop Movement’, the new project will showcase the wealth of talent in the UK Hip Hop scene, the Hip Hop MC/Producer/DJ working with 11 artists on his new album.
East London MC Cyclonious blesses the latest single with potent flows and meaningful lyrics on a Jazz-influenced, smooth swinging, head-nodding beat. Cyclonious’ lyrics hold metaphors and messages and stand out lines that leave food for thought such as “stand for something, stand strong and fall for nothing”.
A hard hitting Hip Hop beat complete with scratches and a rich Jazz melody, though original, might be mistaken for a sample, an element of Hip Hop that is so often forgotten about nowadays. Cyclonious’ conscious lyricism and rhyming style is reminiscent of artists such as Rakim, KRS-One, Common, Mos Def, Guru and many more legends before him. The song takes the listener back to the East Coast Hip Hop golden age of the early 90’s. The video does away with the concrete jungle and takes to the UK shores, Cyclonious and Tha 4orce repping their branded ‘Hip Hop Movement’ t-shirts amongst the tranquil, beautiful scenery.
