Coco returns with visuals for his newest single ‘Waters Run Deep’ featuring legendary UK vocalist Shola Ama and fellow Sheffield emcee Deep Green. An ambient, bass-rich, slow grime track produced by Toddla T, ‘Waters Run Deep’ showcases a “warmer, deeper side” to Coco as he displays fast-paced flows, with Deep Green offering rougher, more coarse vocals himself, as both spit introspective rhymes that explore those times when you just have to lock off from those around you and be in the zone alone, whether its an aspiring artist in the limelight or the streets calling again as a means to survive on a daily. Shola Ama provides beautifully sung vocals on the chorus, contrasting the rap verses from the two emcee’s, but overall, the beat and vocals have mystery and empathy about it. The night-time shot video under the street lights of the city is the perfect setting for the song, with the three artists dressed to impress, a facade that covers their true feelings.
