SBTV present visuals directed by Jay Parpworth for a brand new single by legendary Grime producer Dexplicit, entitled ‘AWOL’ and features fellow Grime legend in his own right, Durrty Goodz. The production is cross between Bassline, Drum and Bass, and with UK Garage vibe, Dexplicit laying down a dutty bassline for the verse segments, whilst the hook features a euphoric melody, and fab singing from a female vocalist. In contrast to the calm chorus, the rest of the track is ferocious, Durrty Goodz spitting rapid flowing bars, the lyrics depicting the gully ghetto that Durrty Goddz is from, as rhymes about going fully in, getting it in when ever he has to, and proceeding then to break down competition with excllent barring which further elevates Goodz as a supreme lyricist, and stating that he is boss in the music scene, handling his pay to lay down the foundations for a legacy. The music video is a trippy mix of green screen effects, and scenes of Goodz in what looks like the USA. A few critics labelling the track as a bit commercial, but with the mainstream vibe from the singer, and the gully delivery from Durrty Goodz, it levels itself out in the end.
