Fabian Secon – Wilderness (Video)

Fabian Secon and 5ive Beatz come with the visuals for ‘Wilderness’, taken from their joint EP “Until We Meet Again”. Fabian, described as a “. . . front-runner within the landscape of future-facing R&B” delivers smoothly sung, softly spoken vocals on a beat produced by 5ive Beatz, and which is influenced by both R&B and Trap. The combination of the piano-based, trap-inspired soul production of 5ive and the well-polished vocal talent that is Fabian Secon, son of Grammy Award-nominated, multi-platinum-selling songwriter and producer Lucas Secon, they become the UK’s answer to such stars as Bryson Tiller and Tory Lanez, who both champion a sometimes hard-edged, often smooth and ambient sounds of R&B and Hip Hop/Trap.

Speaking on “Wilderness”, the EP’s opening track, Fabian says: “‘Wilderness’ is a dark alternative R&B track that describes the banished love lost between the couple. It paints the picture of destruction that has been created and emphasises the fact that there is no going back.”

The visuals take in the scenic landscape of England’s mountains, often desolate and lonely, dark grey skies and and a shipwreck also play part in portraying and symbolizing the loneliness and lack of love that Fabian Secon might be feeling in the song.
