West London’s very own, MSL recently dropped the audio for his newest single ‘Make It Out’, which follows on from last month’s visuals for previous single ‘WM Money’, which is close to 50,000 views.
The release of ‘Make It Out’ continues a collaborative relationship between MSL and Crafty, and yet another hard hitting track both lyrically and production wise. MSL’s story-telling, lyrical intricacy and heart-felt emotive delivery combine with a brilliant trapesque beat from Crafty 839, sampling Outkast’s ‘You May Die (Intro)’, from the ATLiens album, originally produced by Organized Noize.
MSL weaves a story, delivered in third person, that tells the story of one man navigating his way out of the streets, his mind in conflict between the streets, a 9 to 5, or pursuing his dreams. The story shows that a change of thinking can often bring success, and anything can happen when you least expect it.
MSL once again showcases his lyrical prowess, a song writing ability, reflected in his story telling technique, has meaning and substance, whilst still delivering a catchy street banger. So far, ‘Make It Out’ has received it’s First Play by KISS FM’s own Ellie Prohan, a long time supporter of MSL’s music. ‘Make It Out’ should no doubt be another success for MSL this year, with support and acclaim inevitable.
‘Make It Out’ is available now on all major streaming platforms, so check it out and leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments.
