Following the passing of music legend Prince, Shaduno aka AV (The Pharaoh) of Shine City gives us a tribute to the Purple Rain Singer, with this When Doves Cry remix pitting Prince Vs AV. AV covers the song, emulating the lyrics from the original but adding his own singing styles to it with smooth vocals and truly remarkable, harmonious backing adlibs where AV is able to carry the notes superbly. AV’s vocals lay on the drum-heavy, hypnotizing synths and rhythmic 80’s melody which transitions in to and introduces a rock influence, much like Prince who fused styles of Funk, Rock, Soul & R&B as well as Psychedelia.
