Introducing Zaheer, producer extraordinaire, whose objective is to connect music and mental health, and has been fortunate to work with some well established names of late, including Nashville Country Music award winner (and Pro Wrestler) Mickie James, WWE Superstar nZo (FKA Enzo Amore), UK multi-genre artist Genesis Elijah and Australian R&B superstar Donell Lewis. Added to that list now is local talent Kordz, as both he and Zaheer bring you their latest joint, double single ‘Twist Up/Time of Her Life’.

Coming off the back of his previous release ‘Tom Cruise’ with Flarez, ‘Twist Up’ and ‘Time of Her Life’ couldn’t be more different, with the former an energetic, weighty Drill banger produced by Zaheer with Kordz matching the vigor bar for bar, flow for flow, delivering fast-paced, playful lyrics with a fire hook. The ladies in particular will need no encouragement to follow Kordz’ directives for what may be the latest dance craze. Meanwhile, ‘Time of Her Life’, with the ladies as the focal point once again, features Kordz supplying yet another hot chorus, on a smooth, mellow signature guitar-laced instrumental courtesy of Zaheer. This one makes sure that the fun, relaxing summer vibes spill over in to September, Kordz painting a vivid scene of him riding around town on a hot summer’s evening, accompanied by his alluring girlfriend as they hit the clubs and bars, showing her a fantastic time.

Zaheer himself has been playlisted on BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, BBC 6, BBC Asian Network, Kiss FM, Choice FM and Rinse FM to name a few. Coco Mykel of Flex FM also recently played ‘Twist Up/Time of Her Life’ on her weekly C-Mix show. Zaheer’s other accolades include notable release ‘5 On It’ ft. Michael Marshal (the original vocalist on the classic track by Luniz). Zaheer would describe his sound as ‘Genre-Neutral’, as his versatility as a producer has no bounds, and ranges from Hip Hop, R&B, Rap, Drill and Trap. Zaheer has previously performed at the acclaimed Reading and Leeds Festivals as well as been featured on esteemed music platforms such as Link Up TV, SBTV, Channel 4 and GRM Daily.

Kordz meanwhile, is a young upcoming rapper and singer who has gained a very strong social media following over the last few months with almost 20k followers on Instagram to date.
