UK Hip Hop lyricist Baz Brown teamed up with Zee Musiq for a brand new music video with JDZmedia, called ‘Left Me’. The song’s lyrics depict the break up of a relationship of two characters played by Baz and Zee. Baz rhymes about the love that they both felt for each other in the beginning before realizing that this woman was just out for his money, with Baz getting tired of fending for her, upping and leaving her with no money. The second verse features Baz reveal his own intentions for spending his money, using it for smoking and making music, and he also rhymes about having to deal with his ex spreading lies about him to her mates. Zee lends her amazing singing vocals to the hook, but also drops a rap verse of her own, as she gives her side of the story, revealing that this guy was never as strapped with cash as was apparent, stating he couldn’t even handle himself, with her looking to the future, already looking for a new man to provide for her. Zee harmonizes quite beautifully as she mixes her singing talents with rapping, whilst Baz Brown’s delivery makes an impact, hard-edged but smooth still. The video seems story boarded, as it follows the two ex-lovers at home and finally breaking up in the video, with each going their separate ways.
