Maxsta teamed up with SBTV for his fifth video with them this year, as he dropped a special Valentines Day music video, called ‘Rover’, a remix of the original recorded by Royce Wood Junior. Maxsta lays down vocals over the shuffling electronic dance beat, as he rhymes about his carelessness in a relationship, going out gallivanting whilst his girlfriend and especially her friends urging her to end things. Maxsta tells a story of learning his lesson the hard way, as a result, seeing his ex date another bloke, and feeling alone in the end. The visuals are rather out there, as they depict the destruction and despair conveyed by the lyrics, as well as subtle references to the track through newspaper clippings, such as open auditions presumably for a date.
