Toddla T recently bought in Faultsz, Elf Kid and Hiltz, representing Lewisham-based collective The Square, for another session on The Toddla T Show. The trio are joined by DJ Grandmixxer, as they spray bars over a range of Grime beats and a few throwback Garage beats. The three mc’s go back to back, alternating between each other as they shell down reload bars on the mic, smashing it with one line flows, rapid, energetic flows and delivery, as they delivered war bars, dumping bars aimed at rivals mc’s. Emphasis was fully on their lyrical skills and ability to drop bars, as they evidently displayed by barring seamlessly, and I was impressed by the likes of Hiltz with his regular punchlines, as well as the pure energy that Elf Kid put in.
