Grime MC Stormin took to soundcloud recently to release some tracks from his first solo mix cd ‘Style Apon Style’. The MC opens with ‘Style Apon Style Intro’ in which he displays an eclectic style in which he can drop an array of flows on Grime, Dubstep or anything, as he tears it up with rapid flows. ’24-7′ features Stormin laying down skeng lyrics over a lashing production, as he peppers the beat with deadly bars proving to bad boy wannabes what it really is to be wicked and bad. Stormin portrays himself as way ahead of competition on ‘Been There’ as he rhymes about the many things he has done in the past, having moved on from, reiterating that cash has calmed him, changing his reckless ways. Stormin concocts an infectious hook for this one. Both Harry Shotta and Stormin fuse Grime and Drum and Bass on ‘B.A.R.S’, with both dropping rapid, skippy flows on the beat, with the hook stating the main things it takes to be a strong, longstanding mc.

Stormin delivers a couple of party tunes, ‘What’s It Gonna Be’ and ‘Check’ in which he makes a mental itinerary of what takes have a good night, from drinks to clothing, to what dj’s are playing, destination and how you’re getting down. Both tracks are House productions, with the latter being the more pounding of the two. Stormin’s woman of his interest is put up on a pedestal on ‘Empress’ as he depicts his queen as always there for him, caring and loving with both connecting with interests and much more. Stormin closes out with ‘Everything’, a Drum and Bass track, another tune in which he expresses his adoration for a lady, fiending to be with her and always ready to do anything for her, just as long as she is a budding Drum and Bass head.
