With the forthcoming ‘Believe & Achieve’ and being entangled in Grime beef, Chip is making his presence known to the mainstream as well as the underground, and is in a strong position right now. And here he is once again with a brand new banger called ‘Feeling Myself’ featuring returning mc Kano and Wretch 32. The trio rhyme impeccably over a funky Hip Hop beat with thrashing drums and an infectious riff and organs for the melody, as they jump on their James Brown funk wave, as they boast of their longevity in the game, their elite status and supreme skills, with Chip having a sly dig at Ice Kid being absent from the scene, Kano emphasizes and ellaborates on the hard work they all put in, and Wretch 32 gets real creative with some quick-witted punchlines based around football, being match fit and scoring a hat-trick, and rhymes delivers some double entendres in which he spits about taking shots, now he is drinking shots. The three mc’c have fun on the beat, obviously vibzing off each other, and feeling themselves, full of confidence.
