North London Grime MC Row D releases his latest EP ‘Riddim dim dim’, featuring Villz, D Power Diesle, Rage Slew Dem and Flirta D, with different production credits on each track, including himself and the likes of Dullah Beatz and Levlz, which varies the sound through out the EP. The title track features Row D delivering an onslaught of bars fully charged grime beat by Dullah Beatz, as he provides an infectious hook, and displays lyrical prowess with states his intentions on never looking back as he hurtles towards success and the perks. ‘Radio Vet’ features three top shellers on radio or otherwise, Row D, Villz and D Power come together on a bass-heavy Grime-come-Trap instrumental as the three spit formidable bars. ‘Bring In’ depicts the harassment that Row D get from artists begging for bring ins, and those changing their attitude towards him once he got a bit of fame. Row D collaborates with Rage of Slew Dem on ‘Loyalty & Honour’ which is a story of betrayal from one of your closest friends who stabs you in the back and snakes you, with Row D stating that he doesn’t forgive or forget, and Rage reminds us that you have to be careful who you associate with as most lack loyalty and honour. Both go in with hard-edged, heart-felt lyricism on this track. The self titled track ‘Rowds & Flirts’ sees Row D and North West London MC Flirta D come together on a beat by Row D, as the pair do what they do best on the chorus, with both laying down trademark catchphrases and Flirta D’s continuously astounding voice fx, as the pair taunt and dare anybody to come against them, with a K.O inevitable. The pair bounce off each other with energetic flows on this banger. Row D serves up a solid EP with ‘Riddim dim dim’ which will satisfy any Grime fan, as he showcases top-notch flows and lethal barring skills, with banging production and heavyweight features.
