Herbal T of KRT London presents the video for ‘Outer Perception’ taken from his recent mixtape (LYRICAL ARTFORMS) before perceptions, released through Redonda Records. Herbal T takes to a raw, grainy and gritty production, in the same vain to the style of the Wu-Tang Clan, produced by Herbal T himself. Herbal T delivers lyrics over the high-pitched, piercing string melody that dips in and out over a hard hitting beat, adding a martial arts vibe to proceedings, as he talks of broadening his mind and building his awareness of higher powers keeping us from the truth. Herbal T also speaks on enslavement, leadership, whilst exercising his imagination by depicting scenes of fighting with enemies. Herbal T thinks out of the box with his lyricism, and flows steadily on the beat. Check out the visuals that are quite entertaining, grainy which complements the overall sound of the track, interspersing lip-synced performance with animé.
