Manchester Grime MC Manikye took to soundcloud today to release a new produced by Ant Bangerz called ‘Show Me’. Manikye rhymes over a bass-trembling Trap beat, that fuses soulful, uplifting sampled vocals, as Manikye employs trapesque style flow, a cross between rapping and singing laid back, the lyrics depicting Manikye’s need for loving from a special someone, unlike the girls he has fun with, to relieve the stresses of everyday life. Manikye delivers a track that you could easily sit back and chill to, with smooth lyricism that borders on hard-edged content.
