Clash Money – Eljay Vs Kaybe – (Rap Battle)
Rap Battle League Clash Money bring you a new rap battle, filmed by Lock Up, for some “girl on girl action”, a female clash between Kaybe from Wolves vs Eljay from Nottingham. As they take on a slightly different format, a cappella, Eljay steps up first, delivering some inside info pointing towards Kaybe dishing out favours to get up. The two have contrasting styles in the first few minutes, Eljay possessing a slow flow that allows for her in-depth bars that cut right to the bone sink in, where as Kaybe spits quite rapid, spitting some alright bars, not necessarily relevant, although she does reference her height. Both attack each other for their “lack” of online content, and both have their fair share of hilarious bars, some that refer to their appearance. Kaybe displays nice wordplay at one point but straight after, Eljay blows the roof off with a bar in which she pokes fun at Kaybe’s skeleton size and and her dreadlocks. Kaybe has a short worrying moment in which she forgets her bars, which is a problem for as she seems to be focusing on her flow, but nevertheless redeems herself. Anything Kaybe can do, Eljay can do better, and she does with some tongue twisting ludicrous bars, making the crows erupt. The second half of the clash sees Eljay and Kaybe trade bars humiliating each other, making each other out to be the bigger slag, or man as Eljay points out, and being disrespectful towards each other as they take in each other’s appearance. Overall, Kaybe had a sick flow, although her rapid delivery may have suited the clash better were there Grime beats maybe. Eljay on the other hand had the flows and she had the more crude and outlandish lines that were witty to say the least. Plus, as pointed by most of the audience, Kaybe choking was a let down. Both came with their best no doubt, it was Eljay’s day this time, but props to Kaybe. Check out the clash below and get involved in the discussion in the comments section . . .
