Bournemouth-born but hailing from Los Angeles, California, 16-Year Old Teen Pop sensation Skyler has collaborated with legendary Rapper Snoop Dogg for a new single, ‘Fire’, due for release on January 29th 2016. The rising star teams with Big Snoop for a pulsating, bass-heavy R&B-come-Trap banger produced by Trend Def, blending hardcore lyrics and firm delivery with bubbly, out-going, stunning vocals on the infectious chorus. Bringing the fire to an other-wise cold world with this pumping tune, on which Big Snoop provides a futuristic, auto-tuned rap verse. The snappy visuals by Bruce Guido cut between sunny LA and the blue tint of a vibrant, urban club location, depicting Skyler dancing and performing to the backdrop of fellow choreographed dancers, and Snoop Dogg relaxes in throne-like chair, occasionally lighting up. Skyler’s musical style follows the likes of Ariana Grande, Meghan Trainor and Charli XCX to name a few, “crafting dynamic pop hits way beyond her years”, finding inspiration in Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera and even bands including The 1975, All Time Low and Blink-182.
