South West London Lyricist Che Lingo teams up with producer SJ Reid for a music video by Jacques Charles for new track ‘Channelling The Waves’. Che Lingo and SJ Reid deliver a grimy trap banger featuring quick-fire flows from Che as stays on his tip-toes, spraying a range of lyrics over a oriental trap instrumental super-charged with a greezy bassline, chimes and snares. The song is about Che Lingo trying to elevate himself to a higher platform in life and all round, and he rhymes about taking a pilgrimage, meditating and searching for peace and spirituality. Che Lingo appears in the video filmed in Asia, with the visuals being quite unorthodox and different, even trippy to a certain extent.
