Podgy Figures Hardest (Video)
West London’s Podgy Figures releases the visuals for his new single ‘The Hardest’, featuring production from Zeph Ellis aka Dot Rotten, with Ghetts making a cameo on the video also. Podgy Figures drops assertive bars and displays a range of flows over the haunting, trap/rap beat from Zeph Ellis, who explains the track, “is a repletion of the truth during a time of lies and dishonesty. For those who understand the graft of making something out of nothing it will be their soundtrack.” The catch-me-if-you-can visuals accompany the punchy, heavyweight track, which Podgy says is “running from negativity into something positive”. The metaphorical lyrics are made better sense of with the introducing of this brilliantly directed, filmed and edited video, which also incorporates a chase along with scenes filmed in a decaying building with as run-down feeling and chaotic look.
