Vaz Feat K Koke – Platform 6 [Music Video]
Singer Vaz collaborates with North West London and USG Rapper K Koke for a new single and music video for ‘Platform 6’. The track samples Eyes On Fire by Blue Foundation, switching it up in to a trapesque Hip Hop/R&B tune, with Vaz delivering fantastic, harmonious vocals filled with emotion and sadness, slowly and softly sung over tense, suspenseful strings. Vaz sings about the pressure on him that stresses him out, whilst K Koke raps about his past life living on the streets and surrounded by sinners alike involved in crime. The song is about the urge to leave and run away from the problems, with the platform at a train station serving as a metaphor as well as physically in the video, a means of escape. The visuals are cinematic to an extent and fantastically directed and edited, depicting a few feuds unfold with the victims on the verge of seemingly escaping their hometown.
