Ghetts and Rude Kid, the ultimate partnership in Grime and Rap of the last year, come together for ‘Savage’, a Grime-come-Trap banger taken from the soundtrack for the forthcoming film The Intent, released on July 29th. Ghetts’ delivery is gully and menacing on the track as he spits gritty bars over Rude Kid’s pacey, bass-booming, alien production. The song’s lyrics are spat with venom as Ghetts rhymes about the darker side of the lifestyles portrayed in the upcoming film set in London, and is a chilling tale of gang warfare, greed and drugs. Haunting, menacing and eerily dark, Ghetts is portrayed in the video in a state of power in the cinematic visuals which also intersperse scenes from the film itself.
