Fierce London-based Electronic artist Dakota Sixx is set to release a double single ‘Innocence’/’Lost Ya’, taken from her forthcoming “Innocence” EP, on 29th July via The Sound Of Everything UK. Being described as ‘the perfect additional to your late night playlist’, ‘Innocence’ was inspired by the bitter ending of a toxic relationship. The deep bass and frenzied synths are met with the ambience of Dakota’s vocals, her lyrics exploring the love/hate relationship shared with her partner such a toxic relationship where both bring out the worst in each other. ‘Lost Ya’ is yet another atmospheric affair, with deep, reverberating bass, light and crisp percussion and an ambient melody. Dakota Sixx once again explores another aspect of relationships, delivering introspective lyrics looking at how she perceives herself in a relationship, and is about losing somebody due to the inability at hold up your hands and take the blame because of too much pride.
