Thamesmead Grime MC Paul Stephan drops some new energy and makes some statements on a new track produced by Stax, “Spin Man Off”, with the visuals by Wowa. Paul jumps on a trapesque grime beat which samples Danny Weed’s classic Creeper, and displays skippy, fast-paced flows and a hard hitting, impactful delivery similar to the likes of Stormzy, spraying lyrics that are aimed at wannabe mc’s, Paul schools them on how to move correctly in the game. Harsh truths, wise words and gully bars that would spin a man off, the chorus is all catchy too. The music video is vibrant in colour, and sees Paul Stephan and his mates on road and around an estate, with Paul riding a skateboard and wearing some Tyler The creator type clothes, a cross between smart dress and skateboarder wear.
