UK Singer/Songwriter Yinka Williams may be familiar from her appearances on BBC The Voice (2014) and ITV’s The X Factor (2016), and she has had chart success in Hungary, Sweden and Spain. Yinka has been releasing her own cover’s of pop hits over the last month, and her most recent was a cover Zayn Malik’s PillowTalk. With her strong and soulful vocals, Yinka Williams puts her own mark on the number one hit, displaying great vocal range on the bass-booming R&B beat, explosive on the chorus and melodically satisfying and soothing in the verses. Whilst it may not be straying too far way from the style of the original, Yinka showcases her own abilities and the shows she is just as capable of singing at the same level as the top singer’s around at the moment.
