Endemic Emerald & Skanks “Straight out da NYC” Ft. Shatike & Rim [Da Villins]
With the release of their highly anticipated collaborative album drawing closer, British Producer Endemic Emerald and Skanks the Rap Martyr of Brooklyn’s Bankai Fam drop another track from the forthcoming album “Rapsploitation”. Sampling Ja Rule’s ‘New York’ on a boom bap beat complete with scratches on the hook, ‘Straight out da NYC’ is a pure testament to Hip Hop, coming from the mecca of Hip Hop. Featuring Shatike and Rim of Da Villins alongside Skanks, the three lyricists rap with conviction as they showcase that Hip Hop runs in their veins, giving the competition some lethal, gritty bars on which to think about before competing against them. Raw and gritty lyricism and on point flows and delivery from the emcee’s on this track, and another awesome, diverse production from Endemic Emerald. A taster from the “Rapsploitation” album, dropping via No Cure Records / IDC on May 30th, listen to the song below and watch out for the album. Leave your comments in the section below.
