Rapper, Singer and Songwriter C Cane dropped her latest record ‘Bad To Da Bone’ earlier this month via Link Up TV. Produced by D S Gryme, C Cane jumps on this bouncy beat, delivering tough bars juxtaposed with sweet melodic vocals on the hook. The song’s lyrics detail the lack of loyalty and respect that she witnesses within the music industry. C Cane raps about the ones that prey on her downfall, hating on her and not leaving her alone, always chatting behind her back about her team.

With an understanding of the music industry, C Cane is beyond her years, and her talent, including multilingual flows, ableness to play the guitar and piano, adding to that her amazing singing voice and rapping skills too, there is no denying that C Cane is a star in the waiting.

C Cane’s accolades and accomplishments speak for themselves too. She was on one of the most requested UK females to represent across a series of notable freestyles last year, including BBC Radio 1Xtra’s #GimmeGrime series, a takeover on Sir Spyro’s Rinse FM Grime Show, 1Xtra’s Female Freestyle alongside Lady Lykez and Ms Banks, Red Bull’s Christmas Cypher, and BBC Asian Network with Kandi Man and Limelight. This resulted in MTV flagging her Radio 1Xtra offering as one of the best freestyles of the year.

So far in 2017, C Cane has kept us all on the edge of our seats with an SBTV #A64 and a session with Toddla T on BBC Radio 1Xtra. With more than one string to her bow, C Cane also filmed a documentary with Idris Elba for BBC Three earlier this year, and she is currently filming for Sky Arts for a big project being broadcast in the coming months.

All of this, and C Cane manages to hold down a weekly show on Reprezent Drivetime every Wednesday. Her singles have been granted support via the Momentum Music Fund, which is managed by the PRS Foundation and supported using public funding by National Lottery through Arts Council England, supported PPL in association with Spotify.
