‘RAINWORLDKING’ is the forthcoming second project from Birmingham Grime emcee Mayday, and this is the documentary that invites you into the RainWorld that is Mayday’s world, chronicling the last few years of his life. Mayday talks about meeting up with engineer Trix and recording at his DC Studios in Wolverhampton, a legendary place back in 2012/13. Mayday talks about how his personal life ties in with the idea and his music, overcoming personal life obstacles. Mayday also reveals the artwork, done by Thorium, and goes in to depth about the track listing, structure, lyricism and production, as well as his first single ‘Lead My Team’, which was first premiered live on SBTV’s live stream of 0121 Radio via Facebook.

We look forward to hearing the 6-track EP from Mayday, who has time and time again proven that he is one to watch out for, emerging from the underground Birmingham scene. Not only will Mayday be releasing his second project, ‘RAINWORLDKING’, this year, the follow up to the ‘Enigmatic Zodiac’ EP, but he is set to perform on the Afterclash Cyper set, at #Clash4Cash, the UKs fastest growing grime platform, live on Monday 19th March 6pm (GMT) via DejaVuFM.com.
