New Wave collective The Square recently hit up The Grime Show presented by Sir Spyro on Rinse FM for a freestyle and question session. Some of the South East London group’s main artists showed up, including Novelist, Faultsz, Deejillz, Streema and Syder. Mixed with several questions by Spyro which give you an insight in to The Square, how they came together, the meaning behind their name and much more, all emcee’s destroyed several Grime beats with nothing but hype bars, cheeky and witty lines, and bare punchlines and war bars. I believe that The Square have revived Grime and bought it back especially to South London and whilst they keep killing it with the freestyles and cyphers, I am anticipating a mixtape release from them real soon.
