Taken from their forthcoming CD, entitled “The 4th Floor”, Hip Hop collective WOWBROS team up with Deon Nathan for their newest track called “Try (Positive Energy)”, with visuals directed by Aukes Media. As the title suggests, this is a more postivie Hip Hop tune than what is being promoted at the moment. The message of the song is conveyed through their rhymes as they tell the listener to keep trying, never giving up on yourself, staying positive. They spit about those who tell you can’t achieve, countering that with their own thought and mind, going against the grain and proving every doubter wrong. This track is a perfect mix of Hip Hop lyricism at it’s finest, all three rappers spitting effortlessly over the hard-hitting instrumental, whilst Deon Nathan provides the hook, singing amazingly, adding another dimension to the song with his uplifting voice, making this a more accessible track to the mainstream. Brilliant track with a valid message, once again something that we can all relate to. Check out the video which features actors boxing, representing the barrier between giving up and trying, the more you want it the more you give, you will triumph. Let us know your opinions . . .
