Producer Funzo B has given Grime emcee Tempa T’s notorious single from a few years go, “Next Hype” an edit, stripping down the production and adding his own production along with the hype, hot tempered lyricism from T. The bass production leans towards Grime and couldn’t be more far from the original production, with the snares and claps being one of dominant elements in this instrumental, and the low down bass just creeping along and building up to a climax which kind of disappoints a slight bit. The vocals sound as though they have received the re-fix treatment to, having an effect added to them, and clashes a bit with the production which could otherwise be strong. Nice effort though, I think this is a stand-alone instrumental. Check it out and drop us a comment below . . .
