CEE MAJOR [Part 2] | Don’t Flop Drops

Cee Major

Don’t Flop battler Cee Major caught up with @BodyBagnall on the camera to record part 2 of his Don’t Flop Drops session. Technically brilliant and artistically on point as always, Cee goes ham over a deep melodically poignant Hip Hop beat, featuring a gorgeous flute/wind section sample. The rapper gets deep with the rhymes, relaying his own thoughts on the world around him, his integrity and who he is an artist and man. Cee Major is a modern day poet, lyrical genius and integral part of the UK Hip Hop scene, using immaculate wordplay, flowing effortlessly over the instrumental, spitting witty punchlines and double entendres left right and centre. One line that really stands out is “I live in a community where community is exactly what we need”, likewise the bar “I see red, and felt blue but can’t be categorised, cos I dont hang a colour from a bandanna to rep a clan of mine, Conceited bastards looking for greener pastures, searching for the time of ya life while this days creeping past ya’s”. With rhymes like that it’s easy to see why Cee Major is one of the countries leading rapper, with plenty to say and words that always inspire and provoke thought, the industry needs somebody like this to go mainstream! Big up the Major! Check out the fire and leave us your thoughts and opinions below…
