UK Grime artist Row.D took to his official soundcloud to release his latest smash hit entitled “Shut Shit Down”. The MC also takes credit for the production on this one and enlists the vocal help of fellow MC’s Papers and INC to do as the song title suggests and close the proverbial faecal matter downwards. The beats are jagged, punchy and feature a raw bassline, layered synths and a smacking snare that drives the rhythm throughout. Row D lays down the gully anthemic chorus, whilst Row D, INC and Papers go ham with the bars depicting outlandish scenarios and ways they “Shut Shit Down” in distinctively British stylings, in their individually unique hype deliveries. Big tune from three of Grimes most abundantly creative artists, proving their songwriting skills and showing they can kill it in the studio as well as clashes, radio or raves. Row D is fast becoming a favourite in the game and with beats in his arsenal as well as an identifiably crazy flow and flare to his bars, he could be set to deservedly stake a claim as one of the scenes top dons.
