UK Hip Hop lyricist Mr Melta took to his bandcamp recently to release a brand single, produced by Termite and called “Just For You”, and is a heart-felt project which sees him putting up 50% of all profits for the Charity for the Homeless. Mr Melta rhymes over the old skool sounding Hip Hop beat, which seems to features a soulful sample, with jazzy elements coming in to play towards the middle, and in the lyrics, Melta speaks for all of those trying to realise and achieve their dreams, and whom put in the hard work every day no matter what. Melta also speaks for those who have had nothing, struggling and getting by on 9 to 5’s, or growing up in hand me down’s, living in poverty, but yet dream of better times. On an even more serious note, the second verse features Melta rhyming about violence in the communities today, trying to express that many of us are the same, going through the same struggles, and that we should stop and think before we take someone’s life. The chorus is well written, and Melta puts all his vigour in to the flow and delivery, meaning every word he spits.
