Aukes Media unveiled a brand new music video for UK lyricist Skittlez’ new track called “Heartbeat” which is produced by Tim Ross Beatz and features singer Carly B on the hook. The video’s direction portrays a broken relationship, of a couple breaking up, showcasing both involved dealing with the emotional heartbreak and aftermath. In the song’s lyrics, Skittlez rhymes about the feelings that have taken over, feeling as if everything is going wrong, wishing to turn back time, and trying to make sense of the situation, dealing with it in the wrong ways. On one hand, Skittlez talks about the problems which he has, making it impossible for his woman to stay, and on the other, he feels remorse and regret, wishing to turn back time and do things differently. Skittlez’ song writing is excellent, dealing with a relatable topic, flowing over the epic, orchestral, melancholy Hip Hop beat with ease, whilst Carly B serves up a chorus which sees her shine with her fabulous, polished singing vocals, capturing the essence of the track.
