International Hip Hop Rapper Ether L Banks released a brand new track via soundcloud recently, called ‘Purple Lust’, in which she rhymes about the experience of an emotional rollercoaster as she indulges in Purple Nights (Purple Drank) and Green Kites (Weed). Ether L Banks states in the hook that many aren’t about that life that they speak about, where as she goes through the trippy, floaty experiences on many nights, evident from the feelings she describes in her lyricism. The production, a slow paced Trap beat mixed with the chopped and screwed James Blake builds the trippy vibe that Ether is trying to get across, whilst her delivery could also be described as trippy, or so out there, fresh nevertheless.
