ABSORB continues The ABSORB Archive Collection with what is the twelfth track in the series of tracks that were previously unreleased or in demo phase. Just like ‘She Loves Me Not’, the previous instalment, ‘Hide and Seek’, dating back to 2011, features ABSORB laying out draft vocals for a singer to take charge and light up the track with their singing talents. A half decent attempt at singing from ABSORB makes this a solid demo where the potential is once again evident. ABSORB however does what he does best as he spits rapid flows over the bouncy, bass-riddled, thumping beat that also contains club style laser-like synths. The track’s title is a metaphor as ABSORB likens his search for fame to a game of hide and seek, having to seek out new fans and listeners, whilst the track proves his lyrical ability and range of flows, so look no further because he is the present and the future of hottest MC’s gunning for the top spot.
