Airklipz has been busy of late in the build up to the forthcoming ‘Single Speed’ album out on December 10th. Airklipz has linked up with Chiba Visuals to deliver a new freestyle series aptly entitled THEMESTYLES. The series features Airklipz spitting live freestyles on remixed theme tunes from TV and Film; Luke Cage, Breaking Bad, Narcos, Game Of Thrones and Stranger Things. The series so far has showcased Airklipz’ lyrical abilities, wordplay and metaphorical rhymes in abundance, the lyrical content ranging from blunt and to-the-point tales from the hood about hustling, recreational drug use and what not to more philosophical rhymes. Airklipz adapts to differing production, from the funky, upbeat Luke Cage or the dark, mysterious, slowed up Breaking Bad theme to the trap-influenced Narcos or anthemic Game Of Thrones. Airklipz bends his flows and delivery to each beat, letting loose and spitting rapidly or keeping it refined and manipulating the flow.
