Minimalist electronic composer and singer Awir Leon, singed to French record label Nowadays Records and member of collaborative electro-pop trio UNNO, recently revealed the last of a trio of single visuals, ‘Falls’, illustrating his new LP “Giants” which was released on 9th November. Minimal in production yet heavily relying on percussion and synths, this is one ambient audio experience served up by Awir Leon, whose vocals are also atmospheric and spacious. The overall production and the lyrics, the synths and the percussion are unpredictable and uncertain, something which is portrayed in Awir’s lyrics. The video is self-directed by Awir Leon himself, and depicts him taking a journey through the woods. Whilst still in the forward motion his first single ‘Maybe We Land’, Awir Leon is very much in a similar setting to that of his second single ‘Sitting So High’. Awir Leon gradually rids himself of his clothes on his journey, in an environment of which he interacts with and explores, taking in the surroundings up close.
