Bliss Da Bully – The South [GRM Daily]
South London Rapper Bliss Da Bully teamed up with Footpath Media and GRM Daily to present visuals for his brand new track called ‘The South’. The track is a soulful Hip Hop production, reminiscent of Hip Hop production in the 90’s, especially on the East Coast, but the beat samples South Coast duo Outkast’s ‘Elevators’. Bliss rhymes about the deep struggle of trying to make it in the environment he grew up in, as he rhymes about the violence that occurs in his South London hometown. Bliss builds a vivid image of life in the South, as well as noting many shady characters, some he can relate to, and many that may be snitches or fakes, and ones to look out for. Bliss, however, states that you have to thank God if you make it of the hood alive, and he seems to have good intentions, on making out of the area and making a success of himself, instead, he reports on the situation. Bliss flows smoothly over the beat, his delivery hard hitting however, and he puts vigor and conviction in to it when he rhymes. Check out the nice visuals, ones that features a grainy type effect, giving it a vintage, old look which complements the vibe of the track itself.
