South West London solo artist and producer Bowldn released visuals for a new single called ‘Survivor’ last month, a track which blends Bowldn’s unique style of Hip Hop, as this one takes on an urban/dance sound. Likened to Example and even similar to the likes of Dappy, Bowldn delivers an infectious hook that further sums up the message of his lyrics, depicting Bowldn’s fighting attitude, as he rhymes about his constant work rate, the struggles that spur him on to work even harder and elevate him to a higher level, not stopping for anything or anyone as he breaks down all barriers. Bowldn mixes impressive lyrical content, flowing with conviction, with a melodiously sung hook, for an epic sound overall. Check out the cinematic visuals by Simon Deway that place Bowldn in the middle of nowhere surrounded by derelict, run down constructions, looking a little worse for where, yet his lively movements in the video and the awesome, explosive effects depict him as a survivor, the last man standing.
