Brotherhood – Love Life Hate The World
Brotherhood release their much anticipated mixtape “Love Life Hate The World”, featuring lead tracks “No More” and “Alone With My Thoughts”, featuring fellow Minarmy artist Dot Rotten as well other musicians including singer Anthony Thomas, USG’s Geko and Maxsta. The mixtape features Grime and Hip Hop tracks, Menace and Blaze not constricting themselves to one genre, branching out to showcase their diversity. Lyrical consciousness is evident in almost all of the tracks, both emcee’s writing superb lyrics in my opinion, bringing something meaningful to each song, rhyming about life from rising from the slums to gain success, viewing the life around them, the community in which they live, and dealing with relationships in “Alone With My Thoughts” featuring Maxsta. As well as trying to get a foot up in the industry by showcasing their lyrical prowess and superior flows, Brotherhood try to spread a message, being involved in a movement in Minarmy which they resort to calling a revolution in the in one of the last tracks. This mixtape is commercially accessible in some ways, featuring an array of diverse music from the guys. Purchase the mixtape now and leave us your feedback in the comments section . . .
