Grime producer Cassar took to soundcloud to release a brand new instrumental for free download recently, called ”Sinister’. The 140bpm production is every bit as sinister as the title suggests, with eerie bell chimes going off constantly, with Cassar also laying down sci-fi style synths half way through, along with the Trap-inspired beat pattern and a dirty bassline, and a plucky, pulsating strings similar to the likes of the Halloween theme tune, and the beat is halted at intervals by gunshots. Cassar also makes the beat that little more atmospheric with sfx of running or dripping water, making this superb creation that bit more intriguing.
