CEE MAJOR VS CHILLA JONES | Don’t Flop Rap Battles

dont flop

Don’t Flop recently presented this Rap Battle between UK Hip Hop Rapper Cee Major, and Rapper from across the pond, Chilla Jones, in an East London vs East Coast Rap Battle. Cee Major went up first in this non-judged battle, as both went on to trade punchlines and metaphors. Cee Major started off with some head-topping bars, mentioning that Chilla is the rich man’s Tony D with no poetry, emphasizing that he is the heavyweight in the battle with some nice wordplay, and drawing reaction from the crowd with his own rendition of Mobb Deep’s Shook Ones. Chilla Jones used Cee Major’s name in a couple of rounds, with excellent play on words, and in the first round, he expressed his own disbelief at Cee Major’s own claims of trapping. Cee Major drew for knowledge of Chilla’s past battles, obviously having done his homework, at one point, speaking on Chilla saying he’s out of this world, labeling him a faggot, and continuing to state that Chilla is from a private school. Chilla Jones was impressive in round 2, with his own wordplay, playing on the fact that he would cremate his opponent, and turn up at his funeral in a suit and with a tommy gun. One of the last high notes in my opinion was Cee Major, when he expresses his observations of US Rappers in battles against White guys that use racial slurs, and he goes quite deep, bringing a message and a valid point, with some mind blowing consequences coming from it. Both Rappers were with it as they showcases technical and excellent wordplay, and Cee Major was especially brilliant, holding his own against strong competition, and in my opinion, he came away with the win.
