Guitar based Hip Hop and Funk band Courts met up with GRM Daily recently to perform live a cover of Frisco and Chase and Status’ ‘Funny’ from last year. Paying live, you see how with drums, guitars and a keyboard, they re-create the synths, bass and riffs of the original with their own thumping Rock-infused cover version. The vocalist handles the bars excellently, spitting rapidly and skippy as he pays homage to Frisco and Boy Better Know. It is good to see these guys embracing Grime music and what a great cover this is as it’s different and fresh.
