Birmingham Wunsen Grime veteran Devilman returns with the “Body Transporter” EP, via Sika Records, which was released this week. Backed by the leading single and title track ‘Body Transporter’, this track is an electrically charged Dubstep madness, Devilman getting busy with an array of punchlines as he sends shots at rival mc’s. ‘Zombie Maker’ is a continuation of Devilman’s display of outrageous imagination, as he and Badness threaten to make zombies out of even your closest relations for getting in to any situation with them. If you want to stay intact, steer clear of Devilman! For the hell of it, Devilman includes his reply to Chip, released in the heat and the thick of the Chip and Bugzy Malone beef. Devilman was impressive with the fast-flowing, tongue-twisting bars in which he referenced Chip Diddy Chip. If you’re in doubt about Devilman having bars, he reiterates that he even golden bars and even Texas Holdem bars on ‘Golden Bars’, and he teams up with Traumatic on a trap banger entitled ‘Making Mon£y’, both emphasizing their desire to make money above all else and having no interest in anything but. Drawing out the “Body Transporter” EP is fellow Sika Records artist Skinzmann’s remix of ‘Body Transporter’, putting an Electro House spin on it and possessing a greazy bassline.
