Having dropped the audio for new single ‘2 LOVIN U’ last month, legendary Hip Hop Producer DJ Premier and R&B Singer Miguel have blessed this, soulful, feel-good rock-infused Hip Hop/RnB track with a music video. The brilliant visuals, starring both DJ Premier behind the decks (where else!) and Miguel in bright lights, the video complements the fun-sounding song with 80’s style beams of gold light and the movement of the scenes.
An unpredictable, unlikely collaboration from the two hit-makers, they made it work. DJ Premier’s brilliant production skills bring throwbacks to the early years and golden age of Hip Hop with scratches and a sample of Smokey (Chris Tucker) from Friday, and Rock-influenced guitar riffs, slapping drums and splashes of Hip Hop undertones.
