London-based rapper and dancer Dopp3l Gang3r teams up with producer MikeMadeIt for a brand new Drill banger called ‘WHIPPY’. Dopp3l delivers a captivating performance in the visuals shot and edited by @madebytino, which perfectly compliment the high-octane track. Dopp3l channels his inner demon, showing an anti-social mentality by jumping straight in to it with lyrical shots at those he has fallen out with, deading the talk with friendly yet sinister warnings, plus referring to his exploits for the money, and the lifestyle that he lives. Dopp3l delivers a hook that is both catchy and memorable, a perfect combination of melodic flows and witty lyrics.

The visuals utilize Dopp3l’s dancing capabilities, complimenting the vibe of the song and the lyrics, especially the chorus. Dopp3l can be seen on the back roads enjoying a ride in and on the back of a flash whip, and is joined by his boys on e-scooters, posted on the estate, transitioning in to a studio performance. The video, which contains some magnificent cuts and effects, works in conjunction with the audio to give us a lively, energy-fueled viewing and listening experience.

Dopp3l is also the CEO of his own London-based clothing line, Gothboy London, which also stands as an acronym for ‘Get Out The Hood, Be Only Yourself”. You can see him rocking some GBL apparel in several shots of the video. Both clothing and music are a way for Dopp3l to express himself, imparting his brand and product with his own ideas, influences and personality.

Over the last year, Dopp3l has released several visuals including 2019’s ‘Reborn’, ‘Madness’, and a ‘Fire Station Freestyle’ filmed in a similar style to GRM Daily’s One Mic series. He’s released a few singles including ‘Switch’ featuring Jawz LDN, ‘No Love’ and ‘Maverick’.

Dopp3l is an undeniable talent, both as a rapper and dancer, and is building a brand of his own, that feels like a movement, and at a time when a lot of artists prefer to go the independent route. It’s fair to say that Dopp3l is one to watch out for in the next few months and beyond.
