Drake Trophies Singing Battle - The Jump Off 2014

Singer songwriters Jamie Graham and Jamie Hope Origin took to the stage in a melodically epic singing battle at The Jump Off’s recent Week #14 event. The two Jamie’s went head to head performing their own amazing renditions of Drake’s hit track”Trophies”. Jamie origin went in with a piano cover, hitting up the melodies with some stunning vocal acrobats and soulful falsetto. Jamie Graham brings it differently, switching up the tempo with an acoustic guitar version, equally soulful and almost Ed Sheran esque with a hint of Kwabs about him getting low with the vocals and dropping Sheran style sing song rap too. Both very different renditions but equally brilliant. The judges unanimously scored the battle in favour of Jamie Graham but in reality it was a lot harder to call than that. Props to both singers. Good to hear great live RnB at such a big event like Jump Off. Check out the talent and leave us your feedback below…
