West London emcee Eloper44 recently released a new mixtape called “The CD Of The Decade”, featuring an immense 40 tracks. It seems Elope may have had a theme in mind for this release as judging by the cover which is a refix of any “Now That’s What I call Music” cover, Elope gives you 40 banging tracks, including remixes of many popular and classic numbers, may it be Dance, Garage, DnB, Dubstep, Grime or Rap, Elope displays his versatility and eclectic taste in music by mixing all of these different styles in to one pot.

Eloper44 bobs and weaves on Garage and Dance numbers with a funky flow, smooth and crisp and perfected to a great standard, and on many of the Grime & Hip Hop remixes including 2Dead In The West”, and Ice Kid remix where he brings Grime back to the West, or Jay Z’s “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” or Tempa T’s “Next Hype”, Elope adapts to the beat and spits a rapid flow or slow smooth flow. Eloper’s delivery is original and he showcases great lyricism in large parts of the mixtape, as well as some tracks meant for the ravers where he keeps it simple so any listener to interact with the track, and he also writes some great hooks that set the track alight.

Look out for some original production on the mixtape from Th3rty2, Touchless, DZ and B. Lewis with the bare minimal features from any artists, seeming like if he were to collaborate with anyone it would have to be something special.

There are an awful lot of tracks on here, making it near impossible to pick just a couple of stand out tracks, but a few to look out for would have to be “Dance”, “Alone”, “Dead In The West”, “No, No”, and “Execution”, there are much more tracks on here which cater to a wide audience from mainstream pop fans to Underground Hip Hop fans and Grime heads, but Eloper44 adds his own flava to each and every track.
