Felix De Luca unveiled the music video for ‘Buzzin’, yet another music video from the Copenhagen MC’s latest, eponymous EP. Produced by Dontaxaboutit once again, Felix ‘. . . got loose and had fun’ on this one, freestyling the whole track, and as he says, ‘Sometimes art is about capturing a moment whilst you’re still in it’. The only track on Felix De Luca’s EP with a contemporary feel, Buzzin’ features Felix rhyming over a sauntering trap-influenced Hip Hop beat, employing laid back flows, as he lyrically suggests that he is buzzin’ on a current favourite of the Hip Hop scene, Xanax or Codeine. Felix knocks another banger out the park here, and the visuals are visually eye-catching, shot in Sweden, it features the work of local artist Hannah Hildeman, with large proportions of the video filmed in her studio. Juxtaposing Felix’s hypnotic lyrics, Dontaxaboutit’s tight production and Hildeman’s art, Felix’s artistic take on rap stays true to the video’s low-fi vibe.
